The classic source of information also has an electronic version. Very powerful with embedded videos, images and other features. This is a great 'starting point' when beginning your research as you begin to define terms and specific components related to chosen topic.

EBSCO

This is one of the most powerful digital databases around. Most post-secondary institutions and public libraries utilize this service. The EBSCO bundle includes a wide range of resources targeting primary through secondary students and offering professional development opportunities to teachers. Includes over 1750 periodicals, 8300 journals, 100 000 primary source documents, 300 000 photos, maps and flags, 72 full text primary school magazines, 60 000 juvenile fiction records, and 520 full text education journals. First-time users are strongly recommended to get assistance from Mr. Yasinchuk prior to beginning.

This is the newest edition to our database collection! A powerful video resource that allows students and teachers to set up accounts in order to stream and/or download over 1 000 000 videos and/or clips of videos. Many videos come with downloadable activity sheets and recommendations for curricular use. Teachers can even search by provincial IRP standards! The videos cover all subjects and grade levels.
