What is the MLA Style?

There are several popular styles to utilize when writing and presenting an essay--the APA, MLA, and Chicago--are the more common forms in use today. A number of years ago the teachers at L.V. Rogers, in order to maintain consistency and standardize writing procedures across the grades and subjects, adopted the MLA (Modern Languages Association) essay form.
